Yesterday afternoon our dear friend Mr. L came over with 3 freshly butchered and cleaned whole chickens. Two fryers and one very very young one. What an awesome caring gift. He had bought a dozen chickens butchered and cleaned them all-cooled them down and saved a couple for him and his wife, and gave the rest out to friends.
This is what living is all about-sharing and caring for each other. I have been so fortunate never have had to grow up or live in a sub division. I have always been connected in some way to country rural living, except for a few years when I lived in downtown Denver, Co. So I am used to this kind of sharing and caring for each other, especially during my younger years
This can also occur any where though-if you choose to get involved with your neighbors and help one another out. We can all survive these tough times (or any times) much better. It's the way our forefathers survived-we need to get back to this Now
